I always think what qualities a hero or heroine should have? Good looks, a kind heart, a special talent? I my opinion, hero should have a special talent.

Someone thinks that Yang Liwei is a national hero, because he is the first Chinese astronaut. Someone thinks that Sun Yat-sen is a history hero, because he led 1911 revolution and founded the first Republic of China. Yes, they are right. But I thinks Kobe Bryant is a hero. He is a basketball player. And he is on Los Angeles Lakers Team. Maybe you say why you don’t think Yao Ming is a hero, and he is also a Chinese basketball player who has joined NBA. But I will tell you that Kobe Byrant plays basketball better than Yao Ming. And Kobe is also nice and friendly to his fans. He is the most successful American basketball player in NBA history. We always called him “basketball king” and “flyer”. Last year, he got 81 points in the game. It is unbelievable . He makes us crazy for him. I think he will win more honor in the future.Ialways believethat he is able to help his team to win the NBA champion. I love basketball, I love Kobe Byrant. He is the hero in my heart. And do you admire him?

Some day I went shopping with my roommates, after leaving the check-out counter, I picked one item from a girl’s bag and asked her: ‘Hey, it’s pretty wrapped up. How much? ’ After long pause with no response, shamefully she said ‘Beats me, I seldom care prices.’ The talk was over then there came the one deserved thinking ---- When we go into raptures at the sight of luxuries, have we ever thought of our finance management?

Ladies and Gentlemen：

These years, under parents’ loving care, college students have taken purchase for granted. However, independent survival’s just around the corner. When youths hanging out in Starbucks over a cup of coffee, when we lavishly squandering parental sponsor on brand names, when financial ability falling into neglect in textbooks, when the financial crisis engulfing the entire world, real life’s airing alarms. The ability in well managing finance matters relates to not only our present living condition, but also our future ideal realization. Here thanks to this arena that I can share with you what I’ve learned during college life on finance management.

Initially, for us students, a penny saved is a penny earned. Luxuries make us happy, but we need to balance whether these fancy goods are worth the price. Actually it’s easy to save money. Just make a list of what we have to pay for each month, such as your meal card, transportation card and other basic expenses. In modern society, we tend to become more and more aware of our living environment or physical environment, because we are not clean as before. So many people now choose their house as to its environment but not its location and expenses to afford it. As we all know, the environment pollution is more and more serious during these years, what we could do is to make great efforts in protecting environment gradually. As to government pollution, as to common people. We also try to protect it and make it remain clean. Although we have managed to protect the environment to a certain extent. It is still a very long way to go. Protect our enviorment The earth is our home,we must take care of it.We shoule make a less pollution as we know everybody in north America makes 1000 kilograms of the garbage everyday. Most of it is packaging Most of garbage turns into soil but not to plastic,plastic keepsfor many years it will pollute our environment so we shouldn’t waste thing we should make some things for recycling .

I enter tile university after years of hardstudy and preparation(准备). But life in the university is not as satisfactory(满意) as what I had epected. I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I become puzzled. I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become unhappy.

Four years in the university is only a short period when compared my whole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,such as my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map out a plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I want to go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志愿者) for five years.It's very happy and significant. Then I have a dream.I want to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. I think I can be a teacher in the west.I want to try my best to help them and help me. I want to see the world cearly. Now I can't reach its demand and it's very diffcult,but I will work hard in the net two years. There is an old saying"where there is a will,there is a way.(有志者事竟成)"I think my dream can come ture.Now in the university I mature,and in the university I prepare for the real world.

At last,I want to say to everybody"Hlod fast to your dreams,no matter how big or small they are.The path to dreams may not be smooth(平滑) and wide,even some sacrifices(牺牲) are needed.But hold on to the end,you can find there is no geater happiness than making your dream come ture."
